If your code still calls /v1/assistants or /v1/threads after that date, it stops working. I move it to the Responses and Conversations APIs and hand you one pull request. $750, fixed, paid up front.
I emailed you because I read your file first. The line numbers in that email came from your repo at HEAD, not from a list I bought.
One pull request against the branch you name. Every Assistants and Threads call site in the files I quoted, moved to client.responses and client.conversations.
Your existing test suite passes on the PR branch. I do not rewrite your tests to make them pass. If your repo has no tests for that path, I write the ones that prove the new calls return what the old ones did.
48 hours from payment. Before August 26, that matters more than it usually would.
Deploys, migrations of stored thread IDs to your own store, model changes, prompt changes, refactors nobody asked for. I say so in the PR description when I find one and leave it alone.
None needed. I fork, branch, and open the PR from outside. No repo write access, no API keys, no production.
No PR that passes your tests inside 48 hours means you get the $750 back. Do not merge something you do not want.
# before, removed 2026-08-26 thread = client.beta.threads.create() client.beta.threads.messages.create( thread_id=thread.id, role="user", content=text) run = client.beta.threads.runs.create_and_poll( thread_id=thread.id, assistant_id=ASSISTANT_ID) messages = client.beta.threads.messages.list(thread.id) answer = messages.data[0].content[0].text.value # after conv = client.conversations.create() resp = client.responses.create( conversation=conv.id, model=MODEL, instructions=INSTRUCTIONS, tools=TOOLS, input=text) answer = resp.output_text
Yours will differ. Streaming, tool calls, file search and stored assistant config each move somewhere specific, and that mapping is the part worth paying for.
No discovery call before a number. The number is on this page because I already read the code.
Pay $750 and send the repoCheckout asks for the repo and branch. I open the PR from there.
Rather talk first: josh@shiftsupportnetwork.com.
I found your repo with a code search for live Assistants call sites, refetched the file at HEAD to make sure the call was still there today, and pulled your address out of the commit log for that exact file. That is the whole list. If the call is already gone from your file, you did not get an email from me.
